Latest in Beauty | Glamour Beauty Edit
I've tried a few Latest in Beauty boxes and they've never disappointed (here, here) so when I saw that they had collaborated with Glamour magazine to make a 'Beauty Edit' box, I couldn't help but have a browse. Which then lead to the swiftest purchase known to woman-kind...

Cutest Sample Ever!
It's not very often that I do a post just for a sample product - if I end up with a sample and I like it I may take note of it in an emptiest post and declare whether it's worthy of a full size repurchase - but for this particular pipette, a full size purchase is definitely on the cards...
If you read this post, you'll notice that I got this sample with the Latest in Beauty 'New Mums Pampering Discovery' Box (mouthful,) and it was one of the reasons why I bought the box - I'd never tried any of Trilogy line and since my skin is sensitive, it's always great to test it first.
So what do I think? I've used this a multiple of ways; I mixed some (two drops) with my Origins Drink Up Intensive and slathered that on my face over night, it just adds an extra zing to an already great over night mask. I've tried it in the usual manner after applying serum and using it instead of night moisturiser. I've also mixed one drop with my night moisturiser (this felt the best,) to give that an extra kick too. All methods work really well and my dry skin just adores it. I don't tend to use this during the day (all over the face, on small dry patches though, yes) as it feels too much to be able to use it under make up.
The best thing? This sample is supposed to be for seven days - and I've now been using it for two weeks. The results, and how a little goes a long way means a definite purchase of a full size pipette, even if it isn't as cute as this one!
Have you tried anything from the Trilogy line?
Peace!

Latest in Beauty Box | New Mums Pampering Discovery Box
Full disclaimer right here; I am not pregnant. I thought I'd just get that out of the way before I begin this little mini-review of sorts because what I am 'reviewing' is for new mums - whether it be first time, third or sixth time (power to you, ladies,) it's always nice to give someone time - time for a pamper in this case, but don't forget the other time saving gifts you can give to a new mum - home made dinners that can be frozen, an offer to clean, if they have a dog, offer to take he/she out for a long walk... the list is endless, but while you're sat there pondering (and maybe you're not a new mum, like myself, maybe you just need some down time...) here's a stunning little beauty box for all your pampering needs...
Contents of the box; Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips (3ml) - Kenneth Turner London 'Original' Candle (70g) - Balance Me Radiance Face Oil (10ml) - Inika Liquid Mineral Foundation (6ml) - Teapigs Lemon & Ginger (1 Teabag) - Trilogy Rose Hip Oil Antioxidant+ (2.5ml) - Amie Cooling Clay Mask (10ml) - Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (40ml) - Yardley London Hand Cream (100ml) - Balm Balm Rose Geranium Lip Balm (7ml) - Jo Hansford Intensive Hair Masque (40ml) - Bellapierre Mineral Make-up (2.35g) - Mirenesse Velvet Lip Lift Moisture Shine (1.5g). There are also discounts from the brands themselves - but disappointingly these ran out the day after I received the box, so if you wanted to take advantage of the discounts, without having tried any of the products - you'd have to do so in blind faith - which is my only niggle, they could of extended these a little longer.
Despite that niggle however the products inside are well worth the £19.99 you pay - a lot of these I haven't tried yet and the reason why I bought this box in the first place (Trilogy, Philip Kingsley - I'm looking at you,) but there is a range of products suitable for all. I quite like they included a few make up bits - it could of been all to easy just to do bath/body/skincare - plus the pigment I received is a beautiful golden bronze shade that I really cannot wait to use. All in all I'd definitely recommend this box if you're looking to pamper yourself, a friend or wife - whether she's a new mum or just having a stressful time at the moment - guaranteed she'll love what's in this box.
Have you tried out any Latest in Beauty Boxes yet?
Peace!

Latest In Beauty - CEW UK 2013 Beauty Awards Discovery Box
I came across Latest in Beauty through MakeupSavvy (I swear to god, Fee takes amazing photos which sometimes don't help, case in point, this beauty box, what an enabler! ;)) and pretty snappily ordered the CEW UK Beauty Awards Discovery Box and let me just say how excited I was when came to my door!
This is my first beauty box, never really wanting to commit to the monthly likes of Glossy Box etc. This way with the Latest in Beauty Boxes you know what's inside when you're buying them and can really get excited - because you'll know that they'll be corkers. So, want to know what was in the box?
Balance Me Intensive Wrinkle Repair Cream (10ml) - Dr Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Monoi Moisture Melt Body Oil (full size) - Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream (15ml) - Ellie Saab Le Parfum (1ml) - Essential Care Mineral Mascara (full size) - Melvita Rose Floral Water (28ml) - Montblanc Legend Eau de Toilette (1.2ml) - Nails Inc Nail Varnish (Notting Hill Gate, 2ml) - Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion (20ml.) Plus a 20% off full size Elemis products voucher!
Thoughts? Well the Moisture Melt Body Oil smells frickin' amazing! It's like holiday in a bottle! The Nails Inc (I was hoping for Portobello,) is dinky! So cute and so perfect for travelling. The mascara - I'm excited to try, it's in brown which is perfect, I'm hoping for a nice natural effect and will let you guys know how it does!
All in all a really great box of goodies that I can't wait to try out. So if you're interested click here. This box costs £13.90 - £9.95 for the box and £3.95 for delivery. They also do 'Little Beauty Boxes' where you can choose 3 samples for your own mini box - for the price of £1.50 and a standard text message - it needs activation with a code via text.
I'm hooked now, but what are your favourite beauty boxes?
Peace!
