I should and obviously can come up with a more creative title for these kinds of blog posts. But I'm rolling with this, that cool?

Life Lately
I'd apologise - but seriously, that view, right? I've had quite a lot of work to do (still, and I'll be doing some more after this too,) but I've also been helping the Mr with some filming. Helping where I can, anyway...

Puppy Visits...
It's a very special thing when a puppy comes to visit. Meet Maddie everybody!
My dogs hate getting visits from other dogs - Tricks will 'smile' at new visitors of the animal variety and won't go near them unless they get to close to us. She's getting better, mind you. Scruffy is just scared of everything.
I think Trixie's gradual training is down to my sisters dog Poppy - my dogs couldn't stand it when she was around, it was mostly jealousy - they adore my sister!
Anyway, my parents friends have a new puppy and came around to show her off and as typical, I was out! Luckily Josh took some gorgeous photos so I didn't miss out...
Do you have a dog, or are you more of a cat person?
Peace!

instagram #18 - This Week
Oops. // Being a scary mary, showing off Essie Sunday Funday.
Wanda being a 'stealth' hamster.
I can't say a lot happened this week. I went to work as per the doctors orders, even though my back is still bad, only to be told that I couldn't be at work (health and safety, insurance, blah de blah...) - at least not until I can do all the things I'd usually do. So I'm still waiting for physio to get back to me but hopefully once that starts I'll be on the mend.
Even if I do keep hearing horror stories about physio. Eek.
I'd say my favourite posts from this week, are kind of cheating but, Louise from A Sprinkle of Glitter is doing a 30 day Snap Challenge - and I'm pretty intrigued into doing it! I always thought the 365 project too much for me, and the 52 week one I can see myself becoming bored or forgetting so - I think I may give this a go? Anyone else done them?
This weekend we are taking advantage of the mild/warm/sunny/occasionally humid weather and having a weekend barbecue. We did a small test run yesterday at lunch time (it was mainly for the builders who are building the extension,) and our new barbecue is a beast! If you're looking for a very well priced barbecue then seriously - ebay it up! I got ours here.
Have you got any exciting plans for the weekend?
Peace!

A Bug's Life...
I found these photos I took from about a month ago and thought I would share them. This maybe a beauty blog - but it can't hurt to look at some of natures beauty... and that's coming from a serious wuss in regards to 'creepy crawlies.'
This little guy was just pondering around. He had little orange eyelashes/antenna!? -- I have no idea what kind of bug/beetle this little guy is but we just called him 'Alfonzo' and set him on his way.
In certain photos it really looks like he was regarding us too...
'What the hell is THAT? Oh god it's HUGE!' Haha.
I tried looking up what the name is for this particular bug but could only come up with a Squash Beetle? Any gardening/bug whizzes feel free to let me know.
Peace!

instagram #10 | this week
ah, miss my little bear.// a reminder to get back to work!
It's thanks to my brother-in-law and sister that I got to look at the house where War Horse was filmed. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't of found it quite so easily - I knew they filmed in Devon, for the most part and it even mentions the town where I live.
Joshua and I went for a walk and to take photos - it's so pretty up there even though it is boarded up. Moss covers stones and rocks in a way that makes it alive, you know? It's lovely.
I haven't been on instagram as much as of late - hence why there is only a two picture update. I still feel in a bit of a funk and need something to get the creative juices flowing again.
Hope you have an amazing weekend lovelies!
Peace!
