Happy Monday, Lovelies!

What a weekend! I managed to get a ton of stuff sorted and finito, plus I also had my haircut. It's great because now I can see again, huzzah! My hair is pretty good in that it does grow super quick (great for haircut mistakes...) but it means that by week three I want to rip my fringe out. I've had it cut a little shorter and I adore it.

It's only about eight weeks to go until I fly off for the first holiday I've had in years! Super exited and already planning what I'm taking with me (and what needs depotting into smaller tubes, pots and bottles, etc) and what we are going to do whilst there. It'll be nice to get some sun and eat stupid amazing food. Excited.

Here's to an amazing week ahead!

Peace!

Fantastic Mr Fox...

I hadn't meant to intentionally buy this many fox related items, but I received a few discounts (namely a 20% off birthday discount from ASOS.) I first lusted over this smock fox print dress from ASOS over on The Londoner and then on A Rosie Outlook. I did have a fear that it wouldn't suit me, will I look ridiculous in a smock?, should I go a size down - as smock dresses are notoriously over sized. I needn't have worried though because it is the most universally flattering dress and pretty darn seasonally appropriate too.

I no longer have misconceptions about smock dresses. Adore.

The foxy mittens? Seemingly completely sold out online, but I'm sure you could find them in your local H&M - if you're more of a cat person, they are still in stock online however.

I didn't particularly need a coin purse but I figured, why the eff would I not buy a fox coin purse, whilst buying a fox print dress? It's from New Look, but I picked mine up at ASOS here. They also have a racoon version too. Because yes.

If you're wondering - H&M have a few codes floating around, 25% off your most expensive item in the basket (0560) and £5 off (1304) your order, minimum spend is £11 - sometimes if your amount is 'too low' it won't let you use both however.

What have you been buying recently?

Peace!

Happy Monday Lovelies!

This week as mentioned in Saturdays post I'll be leading my ever-exciting life and tryin' to crack (haha,) down on this back pain/issue I have been having. I won't lie to you, I've been super, super anxious about not working - I don't have an amazing job by any means, it's very low rung as the case may be but it's still a job - even if it is only part time. Does anyone else get like that if they've been off work for a long time? Let me know in the comments.

Hang on though, because it's Monday and I don't particularly want to start off on a glum note - so look at some of these pretty (necessary,) pieces! I'm in love with the bunny box storage (swoon,) and the bag (of course,) but the trainers are just thrown in because I need an everyday plimsoll/hightop because my current ones are ruined. Ain't nobody got time for holes in soles in Devon weather, let me assure you that!

I hope you have an amazing week and do let me know if you're doing anything exciting (so I can live vicariously through you, haha!)

Peace!

Autumn/Winter | H&M Top Picks

1//2//3//4//5//6//7//8

The first place I go to shop, be it online or in store is always H&M - I can't abide the queues and other madness in Primark, New Look styles are hit and miss sometimes - but the store that always hits the nail on the head for me is without a doubt H&M.

Prices are good, quality is usually excellent. I'm always sold.

So before I gush anymore - I just want to talk through a few of my favourite pieces from some of their new stock - and it's usually stuff that I deem as a 'capsule closet.'

I'll start with accessories because they are usually personal and everyone has their own tastes in terms of that kind of business.

My top three picks are; the pack of four hairbands - I use these a lot as even though my hair is fine I have a lot of it and it will usually need taming with a brush, detangling spray of some sort and either these style hair bands, or hair clips and ties. (5)

Next up, the bag - oh the bag. I don't really need to explain it much further because - well I just love it. It's imitation leather, comes in this mole/nude/pink colour and also black. It's also under twenty pounds. Score. (4)

Lastly for accessories - a pack of rings. I love these for the variety of sizes/thickness - I know they won't last me long and I'll inevitably lose a few somehow - but they are great for completing an outfit. (8)

For shoes - or in this case trainers, I've got my eye on these shearling style lined high tops. I pretty much either wear flats/trainers/healed boots - that goes all year round and these will be perfect for horrendous Devon weather. (1)

Onto clothing and first up is a very simple night dress/slip - and no, not to wear out and about (although if you want to, go ahead, I ain't judging,) - I've bought all mine from H&M in the past and they are still going strong, I just don't have a black one. Need. (2)

I own a few of blouses like this, but the chiffon blouse has a much nicer cut than I've seen anywhere else so far. I'm totally digging the green and nude shades. I've also been wearing these kind of blouses in the hot weather when necessary - so they are really versatile. (3)

For trousers these loose-fitting (comes in three shades/varieties,) black trousers would look pretty amazing with heels or flats - for an evening out/work wear/anything... So I kind of warrant needing them in my life. (6)

Finally - the essential knit. The fine knit to be precise. Big, thick jumpers are alright (I only own one but it is the perfect cut for my shape,) but they usually tend to make me look like a box. I opt for a thin knit jumper instead and layer. This looks heavenly and I want/need it in all the three colours. (7)

So those are my picks from the H&M autumn collection - what are your favourites?

Peace!

Happy Monday Lovelies!

I have insane week planned, I have some important shizzzz to do today (please wish me luck!) and just lots of work in general for the coming two weeks (boo!) and trying to squeeze in uni work too (yay?)

But a busy week means less time to my own devices, which usually means me being bored. Not a great thing.

Any amazing plans for the week ahead?

Peace!
