Happy Monday, Lovelies!
What a weekend! I managed to get a ton of stuff sorted and finito, plus I also had my haircut. It's great because now I can see again, huzzah! My hair is pretty good in that it does grow super quick (great for haircut mistakes...) but it means that by week three I want to rip my fringe out. I've had it cut a little shorter and I adore it.
It's only about eight weeks to go until I fly off for the first holiday I've had in years! Super exited and already planning what I'm taking with me (and what needs depotting into smaller tubes, pots and bottles, etc) and what we are going to do whilst there. It'll be nice to get some sun and eat stupid amazing food. Excited.

Happy Monday Lovelies!
I had anticipated this week to be hectic, catching up on things I've left by the wayside because of the holiday period - however I hadn't realised just how hectic it would actually be. Lesson learnt, don't put the little stuff off. It builds.
In any case I've still been spying and perusing beauties to lust over from around the web; I'm particularly in love with that knitted cushion. Winter heaven.

I had a pretty relaxing week off from blogging and I'm back (just in time for Christmas, no?) and feeling a lot better about everything. Breaks are pretty important folks - take 'em!
That being said - I need to keep this post pretty short, a friend I haven't seen in a long while is coming to visit and I'm currently sat here listening to questionable (metal,) music. Happy Monday Lovelies!
The weekend is over, my birthday was a fairly relaxed affair and included a delicious strawberry and cream tart (seriously, it tasted like shortcake amazingness,) with that being said there is a lot to do over the coming week - namely getting everything tidy again and ready for the onslaught of visitors over the Christmas period.
There is one downside to Christmas shopping, particularly online - that is all the new releases of gift boxes and other such lovely items various stores have to offer. I've had my eye on 'moss knit' blanket from H&M for a while but have only just noticed the yellow version. Needless to say I'm in love and even though I don't particularly need another blanket, it doesn't stop me from coveting from afar. The storage items from H&M always tick boxes with me and the polka dot round basket is just calling my name and dying to be filled with various items.
Right now? On with cleaning. Ever glamorous life, right?

Happy Monday Lovelies!
I am in the ultimate festive spirit - the Christmas tree is going up today (our wardrobes are so full of gifts the tree has to go up purely so we can all have room again,) and there are plenty of bargains to be had from around the web, especially as it's 'cyber Monday.'
Can we just take a moment to gaze at those shoes? Jeez, the sparkle would brighten any outfit and they are just so darn Christmas-y. Swoon.
Similarly, the warm smokey eye palette from Bobbi Brown looks just as alluring as the shoes - with a mix of matte, shimmers and glitter to see you through all the festivities. They also have a cool toned palette too, if that's more to your liking.

As promised this week is back to normal and so with it, a few random picks from around the web. Since doing the little gift guides last week it's safe to say I'm properly into the festive spirit now... Not that you could tell, right?
First of all, can I just say; that owl decoration? Jeez, it's a little creepy but it's safe to say I need it. Want it. Who doesn't like a festive owl. Those pajamas? Could you just imagine rocking around on Christmas eve/morning with those on? I can.
This week I've got lots of uni work to catch up on but some pretty lush posts coming your way this week.
I'd also like to say a big thank you to Amy (of srslylou,) who did a blog loving feature and my little ol' blog was on it along with a few other cool blogs too. It's kind to share some blogger love, I think and reminded me I need to update my blogroll sometime this week too.
With that being said - hello to new followers! This blog has been around since September 2011 and has gone through A LOT of changes since then. I can't even bring myself to delete cringey posts from way back when, just because of sentimental reasons. Back then I didn't know what I wanted this blog to be, but I soon figured it out and this is where I am today.

Happy Monday Lovelies!
This week I'll be getting into full swing with my studies; Josh goes back to uni too, a bit later than usual. It'll be weird to get used to being on my own during the day and probably tempting to watch crap t.v whilst I'm studying (Gossip Girl, I'm only just watching season 1!) but I really cannot wait to get back to my usual self. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so I'll be seeing what's said there and when physio is actually going to start. I've waited four weeks now...
My Elizabeth Arden Peel and Renew mask is nearly on the way out and I've heard the REN smooth and renew is an excellent alternative to try. I've also been eyeing the AHA concentrate for a fair while so a splurge might be on the cards.
I picked up this shirt from H&M last week and adore it. It's under fifteen pounds but with the usual discounts floating around (try 0747 and 1304) I picked it up for about ten pounds. I've also been eyeing the leather shoulder bag. It's smaller than my usual choices but looks like it can house a plethora of your goods whilst you're on the go.

I'm looking forward to a little break this week - the past few weeks have been hard, quite stressful and generally just a pain. There are of course, a few things that cheer me up - especially browsing the web for goodies to peruse and perhaps make a cheeky purchase of...
I might have been naughty - I picked up the jumper and the flats last week but I considered them an investment for winter. I had bought a khaki/brown pair of flats from H&M last year in a size 7, my usual size but they are too big and I don't know how I've put up with them really. I picked up these almost cognac brown ones in half a size down - much better for my poor feet. The jumper was a necessary purchase for winter - the more lightweight jumpers the better! I feel justified considering the use I'll get out of them, and the fact it all came to under £15... bargain!
Since the weather is turning colder, I'm craving blankets. New, thick, soft and comfy blankets. Preferably to watch t.v and films under. This one from H&M looks amazingly soft and perfect for the colder weather.
Having tried a sample of La Roche Posay Redermic R from What's in My Handbag and seen what it's done to a recent break out (amazingly cleared up a bad reaction to a cleanser I was trying out,) - I'll have to pick up the full size. It's pricey, but I've got a fair few points on my Boots card to ease that, plus it's completely worth it simply because of the results. I'm also going to pick up the John Frieda Dry Shampoo from the Luxurious Volume range, from all accounts it is amazing - anything that gives me bigger hair and make second day hair manageable - I'm in!
