Happy Monday Lovelies!

This week I've gone Au-Natural with a dash of red for my picks from around the web - and let me just say I'm considerably lusting over all of them...

Happy Monday Lovelies!

I'm looking forward to a little break this week - the past few weeks have been hard, quite stressful and generally just a pain. There are of course, a few things that cheer me up - especially browsing the web for goodies to peruse and perhaps make a cheeky purchase of...

I might have been naughty - I picked up the jumper and the flats last week but I considered them an investment for winter. I had bought a khaki/brown pair of flats from H&M last year in a size 7, my usual size but they are too big and I don't know how I've put up with them really. I picked up these almost cognac brown ones in half a size down - much better for my poor feet. The jumper was a necessary purchase for winter - the more lightweight jumpers the better! I feel justified considering the use I'll get out of them, and the fact it all came to under £15... bargain!

Since the weather is turning colder, I'm craving blankets. New, thick, soft and comfy blankets. Preferably to watch t.v and films under. This one from H&M looks amazingly soft and perfect for the colder weather.

Having tried a sample of La Roche Posay Redermic R from What's in My Handbag and seen what it's done to a recent break out (amazingly cleared up a bad reaction to a cleanser I was trying out,) - I'll have to pick up the full size. It's pricey, but I've got a fair few points on my Boots card to ease that, plus it's completely worth it simply because of the results. I'm also going to pick up the John Frieda Dry Shampoo from the Luxurious Volume range, from all accounts it is amazing - anything that gives me bigger hair and make second day hair manageable - I'm in!

Here's to an amazing week!

Peace!

Happy Monday Lovelies!

The next few weeks are gonna be pretty hectic - so bare with me, I'll still be posting but as and when - I do not know. But enough of that boring business, it's Monday - so let's look at some pretty things from around the web.

First up - those tapered 'jogger' style trousers from Topshop. I know it's coming in chilly now and I'll probably be firmly wrapped up in denim on my lower half for the foreseeable future - but these would be perfect for an impromptu warmer day (they happen,) or for an evening out. The camis that Topshop currently stock are so flattering and I kind of want one (or two) in every colour.

Whilst still planning my little project, it doesn't hurt at looking at some loveliness for home - in particular these black skull tie backs. Not to mention the tongue in cheek print - need it.

For beauty findings and lustings this week - I'm hankering after a matte top coat and this O.P.I one seems to fit the bill. My skins feeling a little congested in the usual areas at the moment so a powerful cleansing mask (or masque) should do the trick!

I won't be around on instagram if you follow me (you should,) on that - I'm currently waiting for the new nexus 7 to arrive at my door (I wasn't after a new one, but my Madre wanted my one... so what you gonna do, right?)so that means no instagram.

Here's hoping you have an amazing week ahead of you!

Peace!

Happy Monday Lovelies!

This weeks top picks are pretty exciting (to me, anyway,) as the Charlotte Tilbury make up range is now up and online. Granted, most of it will probably be sold out before I can get my mitts on them; I'm particularly lusting after the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in 'So Marilyn' and the eyeliner kohl in 'Bedroom Black.'

Since it is now September; I really need to replace one of my jackets that has seen better days (read; the whole inner is ripped - how?) and I'm pretty enamored with this biker coat from H&M. Also from H&M - those flats! So pretty and the little design on the gold toe-cap almost looks brogue-ish. Cute.

In a few weeks time I'll be starting the project for the lounge area, but it doesn't stop me from ogling delights from Zara Home. One day - some of their bedding and these nest of tables will be mine! Plus those ashtrays - I wouldn't use something that beautiful for ash, but for jewelry instead.

Peace!

Finishing Touches...

I have been going on about the changes we've made recently to the rooms Josh and I currently 'own,' - a small bedroom and a living room/study/dressing room. We live at home, as to save money because a.) Josh is a student and b.) I work part time hours, with no guarantee I'll get more than 20 hours a week - so for the mean time whilst I am looking for a full time job - at home we are. We pay for rent and food, but obviously, family rates. ;)

The mission was to downsize (that mission was successful!) but more importantly the next mission is to try and tie things together. Hopefully - mostly in the 'living' space because it is mix & match as far as furniture goes. So, here is my shopping list in an attempt to bridge the gaps between my furniture... and I thought I'd share it with you!

1. Skull Pen Pot - Graham and Green. This for Josh's bedside table.
2. Ikea Cushion Covers. For the sofa, the ones we have now are old, dated and just don't work. I'll keep them for fabric scraps but it's in with the new, dahling!
3. Gold Leaf Tumbler - Zara Home. This is for my bedside table.
4.) ÖDESTRÄD Duvet Cover - Ikea. It's white, which is essential but the orange is a welcome mix for the bedroom. Adore it.
5.) Fluor Notebook - Zara Home. I cannot lie, I love list making - I threw this one in for me. Plus, hot pink and gold (from the tumbler) - oh hell YES! It comes in a punchy green too.
6.) Black Vanilla Candle - Zara Home. Another one for me. Cheeky!
7.) Antique Finish Mirror Tray - Zara Home. This one is a big deal, I think. This is for the living room.
8.) Square Resin Turquoise Door Knob - Zara Home. Changing up the wardrobe and topbox. Just a little bit.
9.) Natural Throw - The Range. A bit boring, but this is nice and neutral for the sofa, not too white and not too cream. The grey throw will be venturing into the bedroom.

So that's my shopping list! I won't be buying this all in one go, the door knobs, skull pot and the gold tumbler will probably come first. Plus I shall have to save my pennies for the tray - but hopefully it shall transform the rooms - without changing anything too drastic.

Have you got anything decor wise to change & swap around at home?

Peace!

Happy Monday Lovelies!

You know what? STUFF GOT DONE! I am so frickin' pleased with how everything is looking right now at home and that it's all just DONE. The only thing left to do now is get the finishing touches (like new door knobs for the wardrobe and top-box, I'm thinking these blue lovelies from Zara Home?) over and done with which includes a brief 'internet visit' to Ikea/Zara Home and possibly Graham and Green - But then that's it, until I move out! Huzzah!

So this week will be focused on relaxing, getting my back better once and for all and I've got some really cool posts coming for you this week so stay tuned!

I've also had a change around with the buttons/header. I hope you like the new look!

So have an amazing Monday and I hope you can have a 'chill' week too!

Peace!

Hello Lovlies!

Can you believe that it's April already? I swear to god the years go by quicker as I get older...

Even though I'm back at work now, I now can relax. I don't have to do my mothers work anymore which means a bit more free time. Which I take for granted, I feel. I'm aiming to get out as much as possible, sleep, and maybe enjoy cooking (soup, it's bloody cold even though apparently it's summertime now...) a bit more.

I hope you have some awesome plans for this week. Hey, congratulations on getting through the first third of the year! :)

Peace!

Happy Monday Lovelies!

I'm feeling back on form this week, almost. After two weeks holiday I'd love to say I'm well rested and what not - but given that I've still been busy with early starts everyday, I am actually pretty shattered.

Regardless it's back to work tomorrow -sigh- and I'm already fantasizing about potential holidays - and some of my picks reflect the holiday spirit. Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that lamp? Oh my!

Here's to a relatively easy week (please!) and long sleeps (not likely.)

Peace!
