February Favourites

First of all; slight apology if I seem absent from this here blog and/or social media. I've got a shit-tonne of work to do (sobs) and it's gettin' in the way of my blogging loves - which includes reading blogs too... you should see my bloglovin' right now... so many blogs to read through...

Anyway 'tis near the end of February (another odd month although a favourite, purely for the Mr's birthday and Valentines day flowers...) and I've got a few favourites to share with you all...
First up is a combination of products that have been resulting in a SERIOUS glow. I mean, it's kind of a naughty-looking glow it just looks insane. The L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer Pen and the Benefit High Beam highlighter... together? Seriously. Just wow. I was a bit 'meh' with the L'Oreal pen, preferring the Collection 2000 (is it just Collection now, I can't keep up!) illuminating pen - however worked quickly on the cheekbones, cupids bow and anywhere else you want a glow, with the High Beam... Jesus, I cannot get enough.

I recently mentioned the Body Shop Serum-in-Oil as a up-and-coming favourite. Oh damn it's good. Expect a review shortly, but I use this after toning and before a night moisturiser, as a standard serum. One and a half drops of the pipet/dropper covers my face and neck without leaving things too greasy (I know people have mentioned that about it. Two drops of this stuff is fine for me, having dry skin, but I'd say one drop on oilier skins,) and come morning your skin seriously looks like you've had an amazing nights sleep. Even when you've been up all night trailing tumblr/pinterest through a lack of sleep...

Last but not least a toner that's an old favourite, but one I go back to when my skin is playing up; the No7 Soft and Soothed Gentle Toner. This does what it says on the bottle; it leaves skin (dare I say it?) soft, soothed (a must for sensitive skin,) and nicely hydrated. It's one I come back to time and time again because it keeps my skin in check like no other.

What are your favourites this month?

Peace!
