Face Mask Mixology

Full credit to Kate for this little bit of D.I.Y-esque facial treatment. I think most of us find clay masks can be tad too drying around certain areas like the cheeks and forehead - and I know that my sensitive skin can feel a little sore after in these areas too. Enter the simplest of solutions; cleansing oil.

All that I do is simply add one or two pumps of The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil to my clay mask of choice - Super Facialist by Una Brennan Tea Flower Deep Clean Clay Mask mix together and voila! I leave this combination on for roughly 10-15 minutes and even though the mask still 'sets' - it doesn't tighten uncomfortably. To remove, as clay masks can feel harsh when removing I simply add one more pump of the cleansing oil and remove it that way.

Have you tried this clay mask/cleansing oil method before?

Sophie.
