August Favourites

Just because I'm on holiday doesn't mean the monthly favourites are stopping around these parts. No sir...
These few months I've really fallen back in love with powder products again - blame the heat, if you like but as mentioned in this post, I've found some beautiful products that are buttery soft, stay put and don't cake. Magic.

First, The Body Shop Honey Bronzer is fast becoming one of my favourite bronzers, ever. A nice pale, matte bronzer is hard to come by for us pale girls and The Body Shop have just made a complete winner with this one. The formulation is a dream and stays put during the day. It's just an overall beautiful bronzer to perk up the complexion.

Another great powder (that I kind of hate to love, just because of the price...) is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in 'Diffused Light' - this gives a really beautiful soft focus 'lit from within' glow and thanks to its yellow tone, corrects redness too.

For nails, one nail polish that I now can't live without and have taken away on holiday with me; Dior Nail Glow. Working kind of like the lip balm - it makes the pinks of your nails pinker and the whites whiter, giving you an effortless french manicure - no need for base or top coat. Just two coats and your done. Easy.

Last but not least; the Lush lip scrub in 'Popcorn.' A really sweet smelling lip scrub to slough away dead skin - that really works. It doesn't irritate the lips and moisturises as it goes, but the magic happens once you apply some lip balm. Super soft lips, easily achieved.

What are your favourites this month?

Sophie.
