Superdrug Naturally Radiant | Renewing Night Cream & Brightening Eye Cream

I'm quite a fan of the Superdrug own brand ranges. I adore the 'Simply Pure' serum and day cream - and the Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser but recently I've been trialing the Naturally Radiant Renewing Night Cream and the Brightening Eye Cream.
For night creams I really only have one specification that needs to be met; hydrating and if possible soothing too. Not a lot to ask for. It's a bit strange I went down the route of a brightening night cream, as I don't really need help in that department. However gentle exfoliation never hurts and I'd heard this particular night cream was quite hydrating. It is hydrating - and I'd say if you were to go a bit made with this it could end up on the greasy side. However it does absorb pretty well and immediately you're left with softer skin.

It also does an okay job of brightening the skin too and I've found it to be a big help when break outs occur. Overall I'm pleased but I'm not altogether sure it'd be top of my list to buy again - purely because there are a few other night creams out there (namely the Botanics All Bright Hydrating night cream and the Organic Surge Overnight Sensation,) that do a better job for a similar price.

For eye creams I'm pretty skeptical of drug-store brands - my dark circles aren't too bad on most days but really all I need is hydration because it tends to get a little dry in that area. This brightening eye cream does brighten - and that's great. It also hydrates averagely well too. There is just something missing that makes it just okay. Great for if you're in a pinch but I'm sure there are others out there that do a better job - although it'll probably require more pennies.

So overall thoughts? Not bad - but I've found the other ranges from Superdrug to be better. I think if you have dull/lackluster skin then these products could work better for you than they did for me so definitely worth taking a look. But if you don't need help in brightening? Go for the Vitamin E or Simply Pure range - as they have some great products.

Have you tried anything from the Superdrug Naturally Radiant range?

Peace!

  1. I bought the eye cream a few weeks ago but am yet to try it. Never been bowled over by any eye cream and somehow I don't think this is the one!
