Life Lately

I'd apologise - but seriously, that view, right? I've had quite a lot of work to do (still, and I'll be doing some more after this too,) but I've also been helping the Mr with some filming. Helping where I can, anyway...

I am so lucky to live where I live. You can walk two minutes and be on Dartmoor - if you drive two minutes you get to a little river, which was beautiful especially in yesterdays heat. We tried to set the camera to film some ducks (one female and one male... it was the sweetest to watch them paddle together,) but they were having none of it. 

And if you drive out for ten minutes? Well. There is a beautiful river as you come down one road - it's so beautiful in the afternoon, I'll try and get a photo of it... but once you round the corner you're in a field of tall grass... Around these parts everything is tinged with orange and pink. The birds swarm in and out, in huge numbers. It's seriously breathtaking to watch.
