'Tis the beginning of yet another month (I feel the need to say, 2014, why you go so fast?) so another Beauty Bag edit is upon me. I have to say I've really been enjoying switching every thing up, it really makes sure everything in my collection (whether new or old...) is getting used. Win.
First up, nails. I've been pining for the Dior Nail Glow and originally intended to pick it up with the Dior Lip Glow in duty free, however there wasn't any in stock so off I plodded (or clicked, should I say...) to Escentual. It works in a similar vain to the Lip Glow - it makes the pinks of your nails pinker and the whites whiter - giving a very polished yet simple french manicure style nail. You don't even need a base coat or top coat - and it dries super quickly.
Another polish I'll be rocking is the Revlon Nail Enamel in Gold Goddess. This is the most beautiful polish that I've found to closely resemble gold leaf - and paired with a quick coat of bronze underneath? Summer for your toes and digits!
For lips I'll be rocking the Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Kiss Me Coral. I've done a review here, but it's just a lovely moisturising lipstick and the most gorgeous coral - either applied lightly or for more of a bold look, layered up.
A highlighter/radiance liquid I've chosen is the No7 Skin Illuminator in Peach. I prefer using this mixed with a primer for an all over glow, but it works just as beautifully applied to the high points of the face for a really pretty glow.
On top of that I'll be reaching for the No7 Stay Perfect Super Light Foundation. I bought this specifically for my trip to Spain and yes, it does stay put and it feels super light indeed. It's definitely a light to medium coverage, but it imparts a healthy 'lit within' kind of glow/dewy effect. Perfect for summer.
And last but not least, possibly my favourite of the bunch; the Revlon Highlighting Palette in Bronze Glow. What can I say? It blends in beautifully, feels silky soft but stays put and the overall colour this gives whilst being a fantastic highlight? Beautiful. I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner.
What's in your beauty bag this May?
Peace!
